Hi all,

After being a VF customer for all the time I had a mobile (15 years or so..) I was told by a rep on the phone yesterday that I don't have the option anymore of seeing details of my zero charged calls on my paper invoice. The good lady on the other end said the only way to see those details is to login to MyVodafone, and check them there.

Well, I will not go online just to see those details, I want a paper invoice because I need to have them for the business accounts. Quite simple really. I refuse to accept Vodafone's idea of saving the environment and costs by off-loading their cost to me (and millions of other users = millions saved by VF but probably few trees saved) and to top it off, showing incorrect minutes of zero charged calls two months in a row, which is likely due to the 'improved and new system'!

This is the last straw and I am leaving VF as soon as practical, because I had enough of their 'system upgrades' and many other annoying things such as their pricing policies on roaming, phone locking, now no iPhone on prepay when every other country has it, need i go on and on...?

I just wondered if I am the only one who wants a paper invoice to keep when needed by IRD or for other reasons, and is told to just go and get it online and print it out and thats that?

Chris

Personally I am in favour of a removal of paper bills. The environment is important to be, and papers everywhere is just annoying.
Online makes it available everywhere and keeps things tidy. And just as you said, you can always print it:)

Phone locking was scrapped a week or 2 ago

Has no prepay iPhone been confirmed?

What do you need the breakdown for?

Seems like a little bit much to be jumping ship over. VF went back on locking, prepay iPhone doesnt appear to be an issue for you if you are on account...

How about you get your bill and go online to download the other calls?  Cut and paste maybe?  As an ex bookkeeper, I can see you would not like to print out our 90-plus page phonebill!  Actually, I see a lot of business cutomers just getting their bill without itemising.  Less paper to store...

Why would you want to get it on dead trees when archiving pdf files is so much easier. I get annoyed at companies that send me any automated communication by snail mail. Its just not needed and it means I have to scan it to archive it rather then just putting the email I receive away in the right folders.
