Today the news is full of VF's new in-store digital human employee. So what will people ask her? How will she respond? Aren't these things supposed to be driven by fuzzy logic?

So what is Kiri's reply if someone says they love her, or asks her for a date, or (god forbid) say they want to * her? Someone here must know.

Sounds like a gimmick to draw in possible customers.

That doesn't fit with Vodafones well established customer non service model sorry.

Here is my Quic referral https://account.quic.nz/refer/39513 if you are keen to change ISP and to get free setup (save $29). I will get a $50 credit if you use this.  Thank you very much if you use my link but I'm sure there are quite a few others who could share the same on here, no hard feelings if you use a different link.

They said it quite plainly in the news piece

"So staff can concentrate on more high value conversations"

That elderly lady who has come in to top up her phone and needs the staff to do it because she is unable to comprehend how its done is wasting their time which could be put into another customer in the store that has more profit in the potential sale.

When I worked in retail, i would have loved this - buying an ipod, apple, playstation console, then please stop wasting my time on your $2 profit purchase and go talk to an android. I have money to make with that other customer over there.

And a follow-up question: If someone does start making inappropriate comments to Kiri, can they be done for sexual harassment? Is it even possible to harass a digital someone? Does Kiri have to file a complaint?

Kiri will then have an open invitation to join the Me Too movement
