I intend to change from unlimited Ultrafast HFC to Fibre Max, I haven't fully made up my mind to stay with Vodafone but would like to check out the best deal Vodafone has at the moment then make a decision.

With that in mind what would be the best telephone number to call to negotiate the best deal with Vodafone?

Sadly good luck. I have tried for last month to change Fibre Unlimited to Fibremax. Had 3 calls with the call centre (in Asia still), a call from new accounts (was a resign they were sending to retentions team), been into the store (nope still on old plan), 2 emails over this time to say its done (nope) and sent 2 emails about it plus called back the Auckland number and still it has not changed. I really like the service but anything to do with accounts or changes is sadly still very very broken.

You would be best to look elsewhere, sorry. Don't choose purely based on price. Vodafone's customer service is still not good (see above).

Yep friend of mine in Wellington has had move from HFC to fibre with Vodafone just get completely bogged down. No one seems to be able to tell him what is going on...

Only way to get a good deal out of Vodafone is to not be an existing customer.

Finally gave up on funding their deals to new customers at the expense of long term customers and have moved ISP

Pretty much just giving your 30 days notice would be the best deal.

Sign up with another company that offers the same service with better customer service.
