I have an imported Nokia 6680. Can someone please provide the Vodafone 3G settings and guide me through the setup process on a Nokia 6680 to get the 3G features to work? Can you also post it and not PM it so that everyone benefits. I have read through screeds of pages and have come across people who have been helped with problems such as mine but there were no viewable posts with the solution.

Is that all I need? Just the usual wap (vlive) settings? No changes/extra settings for 3G?

Ok I can access the Vlive 3G menu however the 3G links are greyed and when I select them it comes up with 'This service or content isn't available when you're out of the 3G zones..." So I took a drive around testing it in all of the supposed zones with coverage and I kept getting the same screen. Are there any settings I may be missing?

alternatively, check this link http://www.nokia-asia.com/nokia/0,,78317,00.html

like Snicole said, call Vodafone. that's your best bet. they'll send the settings OTA.

You should hava a so called "Setting Wizard" in the bottom of Tools menu.
Check that out. It can help to set up your 3G settings.

If you dont find that menu (I mean the Wizard) you can download it.
Open Google and put Setting Wizard Nokia 6680 in the search field

You'll be able to do the gprs and wap settings via the settings on the website. And you'll be able to use 3G for video calling, but you can't re-program them to use the other 3G services. Vodafone 3G services such as downloading music tracks, music videos, etc are licenced to be able to be downloaded to vodafone NZ phones only.
Even the instore vodafone data specialists who will re-program phones for GPRS at a cost are unable to re-program the 3G ones from parallel imports or overseas.
Sorry, you won't be able to use a lot of the services you bought it from. One of the downsides of buying an imported phone ...

that's what i thought too... you can use UMTS phone from overseas here but you don't have the access to use the VDFN NZ specific services.

Would you mind telling us how you setup your imported phone? Can you do video calling as well?

Thanks.

PS: how much do you buy it from singapore?

i just used the normal Vodafone Live settings.
i got my 6680 4 months ago for NZ$780.
if you cannot set it up... i can provide a step by step guide so you can check whether you have the right settings or not.

So,, you imported your phone from the back blocks of indonesia or from Parallel imported, you might need these general settings

Thanks to paradoxsm for that post.
