This evening we're unable to watch channel 2 or 3, these channels just don't come up at all in the guide, or pressing up/down on the remote.
Just goes from channel 1 then to Bravo.

Anyone else having this issue?

Rebooting does nothing.

And we're unable to view any recordings from channel three shows

After playing around with settings, turning the unsubscribed channels off and on (and getting an error), then rebooting, the missing channels (2, 3, prime) finally came back.
Although at first channel 2 said at the top right "Channel not subscribed".

But all working again now, weird.

Hi, I see there are a few weird glitches affecting some users here (although, I should note, these are unusual cases and most are not seeing these).   I'll send through to the Media ops team to see if there's been any changes that may have caused this.

BTW, you may have noticed my responses are not quite as rapid as before, so my apologies for that.  I'm no longer the Product Owner for VTV and my new focus, my "promotion", is to lead what we call internally our "TV Defrag" intitiative, where we are streamlining our 27 different TV product & access variants down to just one (Gen 2 VTV standalone).  However, given the Gen 2 VTV product is the target state, I'm still very keen to support this forum as much as I can... just an advanced warning there may be a slightly increased latency!

A couple of click on the ffwd button seems to fix the jerky video issue when it occurs. Which make me think its an issue with live stream playing being played from the internal buffer.

Which makes it sound either like a corrupted buffer/memory or resource constraining (CPU/memory).

On the other hand, I have noticed the Vodafone Amazon Prime app is faster (and more reliable) to start playing content than Amazon's Fire TV.

@Sansom VTV on Channel 1 since I turned it on at about 8:10AM this morning is suffering from Micro Pauses however occasionally the sound keeps going. FFWD a couple of times does not help, and rebooting the device does not help either. Can you please help? I am on Spark with 100MB Fibre with an Asus RT AX-3000 router with wired ethernet.

By the way is there someone we should direct such issues to on this forum now that it is not your direct responsibility?

@sansom @zollymonsta last night (Thurs 30} the VTV experience was so bad we just gave up watching. On the TVNZ channels  One, 2, Duke we experienced freezing almost constantly. Time shift was terrible including some of the Sky channels. Watching UKTV or Turbo was just annoying.

Any updates or suggestions as we are close to ditching this service, again.

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

Perhaps related to load on the service? I note this morning, mine has been on tv3 since around 4a.m and it hasn't gone into jerky mode. The ticker tape on the A.M show is still smoothly scrolling along.

Unless there was overnight firmware update..

Can anyone remember the details for pairing the vodafonetv/remote to your TV, so that the power and volume buttons control the TV directly? (from memory it was some combination of keys on the remote, then holding down the power button until the TV switched off...)

I'd had to call Vodafone about still not getting the updated Neon app, and they had me reset the box, and it seems to have lost track of the type of TV or something (and I still have the old neon app which doesn't work). I can't face making another call. If I can get the volume/power buttons working again, I'll be happy without the update Neon app.

Nevermind, found it. Yellow+OK, then hold the power button until the TV turns off.

Now I just have to hope my Neon app updates eventually.

I am finally up and sort of about. I had a quick look at VTV. The screen was frozen on the last screen we looked at last night 9 out of cats does stuff programme. I got it going by pressing eh channel up on the remote. In the quick look I had channel One and 2 were OK. I will try again latter today.
