@Kodiak - perhaps an HSNS connection is what you want? They come with CIR's and an SLA. Fairly reasonable pricing too for what you get.
I'm sure that will sort out the Netflix issue.

@chevrolux you are completely missing the point. Your post is almost trolling.

Island Bay, node WKH, cable 100/10 Mbps, tested over ethernet:

Here are my averaged hourly TrueNet speed tests for the last week:

The evening dip is getting wider and deeper.

These are averaged results - some days are better, some are worse (yesterday was much worse)

Last night at 7.22pm:

"Node WKH is very close to getting some much needed TLC" according to @johnr

So - any ETA on WKH?

WKH is in the next lot to be done and some other work was completed to help with peak time congestion on WKH

How did it go from planned work in the next 24 hours to "next lot"? And what does that mean timewise?

The is the same story we've been getting for months.

So we're back to next week again. How many times has a Vodafone representative here claimed WHK would be addressed in the next couple of weeks? I'd suggest every other week since mid January and several times in the six months prior. It's beyond ridiculous.

I appreciate you coming here, but don't you get tired of making the same promises over and over, just to break them again? What possible reason does anyone here have to believe this claim of next week over the last half a dozen? I feel like I'm being fed dog-ate-my-homework stories.

I haven't had any significant issues outside peak at all. My issue is peak time congestion, just as it has been for the last year. Like the rest of the Island Bay customers here, my connection drops to a fraction of the speed I'm paying for every night and of late it seems to be getting worse again. For the last few weeks is been around 10Mbps.

What speed are you getting now testing to VodafoneNZ Wellington over Ethernet?

Not ramboky, but I'm already feeling some congestion tonight. We're already well below 50% of advertised download speed. :(

Apologies for the beta.speedtest.net link. Not booted into Windows at the moment, and I don't have Flash available in any browsers.
