: But when people tell me they want to watch movies on mobile - and HD movies for that matter on a small screen... Come one, just get an unlimited fixed line broadband connection and be done with it.
johnr: No you don't need to be rich to have access to 4G and the finer detail why Prepay does not have access I would say I can't go into on the public forum

theRocknRolla:networkn:NZCoderGuy: $10 a month extra, for the privilege of burning through your data cap faster?
I am failing to see the logic in that? I would have thought it was a given..
Don't be disingenuous. Do you complain paying extra for a v8 in your car just because it burns through your fuel faster? I don't like the $10 fee either, but at the end of the day, it's not JUST so you can burn through your cap faster and to suggest it is, isn't reasonable or representative of the facts.
If you are going to use a car analogy for 4G then yes you would complain if your V8 ran out of gas before it left the drive way.

well 'rich' ie, not waiting for studylink to pay you your student allowance :P
rich being paid enough to be able to spend $90 on a phone plan every month while still having money left over for all your other bills
this is a slap in the face!

joker97: in light of that (that most people don't want to afford 4G on a plan) ... what's the estimated dual carrier deployment to the rest of the country, say Dunedin. is this put back for 4G or steam rolling ahead
Malingo: Does the plans over $120 rule to those of us on a Corportate plan? I think my plan is $79 per month but obviously there heaps of us on it? Does that's mean I have to get outlet administrator to activate it for the lot?
