As a matter of interest Semble on my Note 3 with Lollipop has started working today, 5.0 still not listed as compatible for any of the networks on the Semble site and I cannot see the 5.0 firmware for NZ on SamMobile but somebody must have approved this pre emptively.
(I have a parallel imported Note 3 running HK 5.0 firmware)
Have setup all the cards now with no issues and will test out some payments later on.

I ended up updating to lollipop the other day. Just checked the app and it is working. That's on an HTC One M7 Black.

I haven't checked to see if payment actually work as yet.

I had my hopes up for a moment there - had a Lumia 640 delivered today, with a Semble-ready SIM with it. So I rushed over and checked the Semble and Vodafone sites and found that they still only support Android, and the Lumia definitely isn't on the list.

Does this mean VF are sending out Semble SIMS with all new phones? Or did they chuck the wrong one in my box by mistake?

Sorry to get your hopes up! Yes, it seems you received a Semble sim when you should have received a normal sim. We've passed the feedback on to our distributor, thanks for the heads up.

There's been a few emails internally, we're working on getting one to Semble so they can test and approve.

merve0o0: I ended up updating to lollipop the other day. Just checked the app and it is working. That's on an HTC One M7 Black.

I have the same type of phone but ordered from the UK, is there some internal identifier that would differentiate my phone and prevent Semble from working? I still get Status 15 even though it now supports Lollipop.
The Semble site lists "HTC One M7 [HTC_PN071]" as the model, but as far as I can tell, M7s were all PN07xx0 (mine's a PN07110)

You will need to have the correct CID, and be running the VF NZ Firmware

Oh well... that just ensured that I will never wind up using Semble as the last time I bought a cellphone from an NZ carrier was 1998

That IS an awesome phone case - is it made from real vibranium? Or just a handwavium alloy?

Vibranium of course... well at least until I drop it. wink
