MacGyvr? maybe the issue is you were after the defrib button instead.

Would be grateful if someone could tell me how to access the ‘restart’ function while watching a FTA show. Usually when we put The Chase on at say 5:30 pm, if I touch the OK button on the remote, ‘Restart’ shows and we can watch the show from the beginning. Tonight ‘Restart’ isn’t there - the OK button brings up the Subtitles options. Can’t find Restart anywhere.

For some (probably) stupid reason it isn't currently showing the Restart button.

People often mistake me for an adult because of my age.

Stu: For some (probably) stupid reason it isn't currently showing the Restart button.

I’ve now noticed that on the ‘home screen’, the left-hand panel called ‘My TV’ isn’t currently working - I suspect that this ‘Restart’ issue is related to that. Also the second-from-left panel - ‘TV Guide’ isn’t illuminated either - unless you select it. Normally it is active even if not selected.

Update: ‘Restart’ is now showing again, as normal.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

Had a weird bug a few weeks ago.

Was watching the news on TV1, went to answer the door and when I came back I found it on the E! channel.

Started scrolling back through the channels and I had access to all channels, Sky + Sports + Movies. Watched a movie on Sky movies, changed the channel afterwards and it was back to telling me I wasn't subscribed.

Do you have teenagers? Maybe one of them has a separate profile on your TV that includes their secret Sky subscription (that you probably unwittingly paid for) - and they quickly switched to that while you were answering the door. The E! channel might be the pointer here. 😀

Or, when you opened the door you admitted a temporary new-reality parallel universe that revealed your latent E! channelness.

Or, more likely, VTV is demonstrating that it’s still flakey AF.

While we are talking about bizarre things ... we went to watch 2021 E1 of County Calendar only to find a cake making show there instead. Found out later that CC had been bumped by the Prime Minister announcing Level Three in Auckland. One would hope that Vodafone's systems would have automatically cancelled the recording and waited for the next CC to turn up, but no!
When we found all this, just under a week later, I went to look at upcoming recordings, and VTV said it was going to record 2021 E3. Appears that it thought it had recorded E1, but no indication that E2 would be recorded.

I cancelled the CC series record then turned it back on. Now it look like E2 has been recorded. (We watched E1 on demand.)

How do you book Sky Arena Events on Sky Using Vodafone TV Gen2 Set Top Box. The Vodafone Site refers to using the Sky Apps but these do not appear to work for me. Note: I recently cancelled Sky Starter so could this be the reason, or is it not possible to get Sky Arena on Vodafone TV?

Looking at ditching sky satellite, have gone from $91 a month (which was too much already) to $130 (deal expired)

I found the Email, was sent on 18 Sept 2020, but at end of email has "But hurry - offer ends 8 October" for sports only Vodafone TV.

Not sure how Sports costs $130 on Sky? Start up $25.99, Sports is another $31.99 , recording $15 so for one decoder total price $72.98

Do you have a lot of multirooms? Vodafone TV wants an additional $25 per extra box as well , just save the $15 record fee.

multiroom gone from $16 to $21.74
monthly for starter+ent+sport+my sky gone from $63.37 to $85.63

If I can just add sports on my vodafone tv that will save me lot of $ then ill ditch Sky and use the extra to up my fibre plan to Gigabit ;-)

Sports firstly requires Sky Starter before it can be added to Vodafone TV.
