I am now the "proud" owner and user of the new VTV box that replaced the much loved T-Box.  Connected on ethernet directly to a new UltraHub and then a Vodafone MaxHFC link. Apart from a few struggles with the UI readability and a certain amount of trial and error on how to do things we have been reasonably happy with much of the service/technology.  I do have two issues that I am interested in knowing if they are common:

1.  Voice and video sync on Netflix and Neon seems a bit out at times.  I haven't looked to see if there is an adjustment on the box or on the TV.

2. Tonight watching the Constellation cup (netball) live on Sky Channel 53, the quality of the video was so bad it was almost unwatchable it looked very low resolution, certainly not what I would have expected.

With the discovery channel now on sky (and we're subscribed to basic + sports) - if the new Discovery on Basic doesn't show up on the guide, this is what I had to do:

Go to settings → Content Settings → Unsubscribed Channels.

Set it to show, then change it back to hide.

That caused Discovery to show up for us (and hides the channels we're not subscribed to)

Has anyone recently noticed loss of sound?

It happened a few times - while watching "live" TVNZ or watching TV NZ On Demand. I suspect either the box itself or the TV, although the TV is used a lot more with a Fire TV and that doesn't seem to happen with that connection.

Nope! Don't often watch live TVNZ, but Americas Cup was fine today! :-)

I don't believe we've had any issues here, either.

I noticed it the other day happening on rewind occasionally. Changing the box to stereo output fixed it though.

I have replaced the HDMI cable and it seems to be working fine again.

I am considering resurrecting our Vodafone TV which was relegated to the tech storage cupboard(currently plugged in and testing) in the garage as I miss the 3 day catch up and rewind. Couple of questions.....

1. This thread seems to be quiet these days is this due to the bugs in the system are now squashed or is it because most folks have dumped the service?

2. Is there any word on Disney plus coming to Vodafone TV?

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.
