It seems vodafone is shutting down a number of legacy services, you do wonder if they are just going to be offering vanilla mobile and broadband deals moving forward?

the other service which is canned tomorrows is the Sure Signal..

@Linux @MikeB4
I try to avoid family strife by precursing everything I say about Vodafone with "Don't expect customer service, but the product has this, that, the other, going for it."
One member of our extended family has been a Vodafone Cable customer for around ten years. She doesn't like change, so didn't upgrade her (Surfboard @30mbs) cable modem until it stopped working. Vodafone's efforts to contact her about it were not the best, until she did said I could do a magic email to the CEO. They were excellent from that point.

This is where their Great and Venerable Leader saw things a year ago. I'm sure those of us with VTV boxes that generally work well wish @jasonparis would give us an 'annual update' about now! :-)

Hi folks

Could you please move the discussion about Vodafone TV being retired to the new topic here so we can keep this thread for technical discussions only?

I will lock this for a couple of days so people can follow on the other thread Vodafone TV retirement plan: September 2022 (geekzone.co.nz) - I will unlock for technical discussion to proceed (someone please remind me if I forget).
