Kyanar: Vodafone connection from Greenlane Clinical Centre in AKL here - also get the iServe default page.

Thanks for checking that.

I've collated these results and passed them on to iServe and they are getting their engineers to look into this further.

I can reach the site and the new page you added from a Telecom ADSL connection.  DNS servers I used are:

202.27.158.40
202.27.156.72

Cheers!

On Vodafone Red Network in Auckland - also get Iserve notice. Is there different routing for Red Network vs non-Red network customers?

Ah, good thinking!  I'm on the Red Network too.

An engineer at iServe (Orcon) got back to me and suggested that Vodafone might have a cache somewhere that has cached the "Website not uploaded yet" error page.  He suggested I upload the index.html page again so it gets a new date-last-modified.  I did this and it fixed the problem!

I don't know why Vodafone cached the error page, in theory that page should never have been shown for that website since the website has been operating since 2005.

The fact that it worked for some Vodafone users and not others might be down to some users getting the cache and others not.  I'm on the Red Network, if that makes any difference.

Does anyone know anything about Vodafone caching?

For those on Vodafone and finding the error what happens if you add ?version=12345×tamp=98765 to the end of the URL?

Unfortunately my re-uploading the page seems to have caused the cache to re-fetch the page, so the error page isn't coming up any more (at least I'm not getting it any more, and I assume others aren't either).
