The thing is, freutasm, that the data I have is the highest Vodafone can provide, and it didn't cover my month usage not even with the "double your data". The website I acces to work "eats up" a massive amount of GB, according to what the "data usage" shows. I need something that if I go overboard, I can pay for the extra GB and not have my speed slowed down. Unfortunately, Vodafone does not allow users to do that, and I cannot afford go through this stress every month (let alone risking losing my job for not meeting deadlines). I was checking and my best option will probably be Telecom which has a 500GB plan, and you can pay for the extra data if you happen to go overboard. Then everybody in my household would be able to use their computers freely, without having to think that they can't do this or that because they need to save data for me. ...capping is such a ridiculous and obsolete thing, in my humble opinion...

michaelmurfy:Telecom have some on top of their phone booths offering 1gb per day for free.

I was wondering what that thing on top of the phone booth outside ANZ in Petone was.

Hi,

It sounds like you are using this connection for business purposes. If that is so you may wish to look at some of the business plans.
This http://www.vodafone.co.nz/business/broadband/daytime/ plan is particularly popular.
Please note this plan requires you to be on a business landline which would charge you for local calls. My solution may/may not be appropriate but it seems to me VF might have tried to solve a business problem with a residential solution here.

Please note: I have a professional bias towards Vodafone.
