richms: Was the old page static or dynamic? It may have been served with a stupidly long expiry which is sitting on vodafones cache they plague their fixed line connections with, try appending a ?something to the end of the URL and see if you get the new page.

I'm not sure whether it was static or dynamic to be honest.

I tried adding some extensions but either get errors saying the page does not exist (where that extension is new) or the old page (where it was the same name on both sites).

I'm not sure who in VF to speak with, as most of the people I have spoken with before did not really sound like sorting this kind of thing was within their pay grade!

Are you on the old TelstraClear network - just wondering of this is a symptom of the various issues that get reported from time to time with their caching/proxy server?

I think at this point you should tell us what the address is so we can test in different networks...

OK.

www.marcusadamsphoto.co.nz

To tell whether you have the old or new version, the old version is broadly light grey with an orange logo in the top left.

The new site is predominantly dark grey with a red and white logo in the top left.

I don't think so, but anything is possible out here in the bundu I suppose! We have never been customers of theirs, but I am never entirely sure how things work out there in the cabinet etc!

It's got a very high TTL value, I'd recommend using 3600.

14400 is only 4 hours though, and it looks like this issue went for a lot longer than that.

No, the ISP monitors the forums, and a staff member may have flushed the DNS after reading it, especially as it got fixed immediately after the URL got posted. This is one of a few examples http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=39&topicid=116860&page_no=2
