timbosan:And Crystal Ball Gazing time - do you even think we will see mobile 4G plans with data caps that allow for replacement of landlines?  Like around 30-80GB?  And at a reasonable price?

Think what would happen if every single person drove to work and home on the same bit of road

logical answer there is to add more lanes to the road :P

That works for cable, but not for airways. Airways are a finite "width", so how would you fit more lanes into the same amount of space?

With wireless you have to drive faster, as there's no room for width.

So how many MB did that speed test use up eh JohnR?

I know it's not a problem for you, but others seem to have had the problem with burning through 150mb+ doing a speedtest.

Your customers seem to agree too: https://www.facebook.com/vodafoneNZ/posts/10151715664557503

I would guesstimate that used up 160-170mb of data in that 30 second speedtest you ran.

Or have Vodafone zero-rated their speedstest server now :)

Yep, like putting better technology in to cars; but still the same amount of space.

They have also done the same with cable, 10Mbps > 100Mbps > 1Gbps > 10Gbps

Difference with cable (or fibre) when you run out of your 10Gbps on your CAT6 cable, your just drop another cable next to it - you can't do that with airwaves.

Does anybody here know if the RRP for the i9506 is the same as the i9505?
