Yep, we've had a great improvement since the changeover to Vodafone, and I have no complaints about the T-box. Also rang them up some time ago and arranged a larger Internet plan, and it all ended up costing me less than the old TC Plan. I'm a happy customer :-)

Have had a T-Box for 2 years (24 month contract is up next week) and they have gotten better, but IMHO are still not as good as our MySky was 2 years ago. Unless MySky has gotten worse in the last 2 years, I'd imagine it's still a better product.

I have the original box I received as part of the alpha group when I was working at TCL - received Nov 2010. It's still running fine and has no issues. It's also connected to a 6 yr old Samsung TV, and occasionally the HDMI sync goes out of phase with all devices connected to it (DVD player etc), which I don't blame the box box for. I guess it's just an HDMI thing.

I turn the box on and off every night - no point in keeping it running with a disk spinning for no reason - and about 1-2 times a year I get no signal and need to restart the box. In the UK my Pace box would lose signal every 2 months or so and would need a restart.

The remote response IS slow and has been since launch. But so is the remote on my DVD player and TV as well. It's ok, and most importantly everyone in the house uses it without much complaint. It continues to get a workout and the disk fills regularly with programmes everyone wants to catch up on.

I've had a personal reservation on the durability of the hard disk and what will happe when it crashes - and it will, it's just a mechanical disk - but so far, 3.3 years and numerous software updates, still going!

My view is that it's ok and works fine.
