timmmay: Routing problems are one of the reasons I switched from cable to Snap fiber. They couldn't route directly to Australia, a 30ms trip, it always had to go via somewhere that took 150ms.

I will quote this as well as +1... Because TelstraClear international routing (now Vodafone cable) sucks like nothing else.

happyfunball: I logged a ticket with them after 40 minutes on hold.  They bumped me to lvl 2, which is apparently an email

Anyone else on cable having problems connecting to this site?:  www.vimyfoundation.ca

I can't connect to that site from my (TelstraClear)Vodafone home connection, can via VPN to work (Snap routed).

I came here as I am having similar issues (although not specifically ssl - http as well) - can't connect to many sites from home for the past few days, can from work or 2Degrees 3G. Also having really slow DNS issues. Have restarted everything in sight. Tedious. I suppose I will have to phone customer services.

I have just tried to reach the Z Energy Ask the CEO page at https://z.co.nz/AskMike and found out it won't load... because it's hosted by a third party service in the USA on https://a.pgtb.me/6C3LjD

Thanks, letting our tech team know. If there are any other examples, please keep them coming. The more we have to work with the better.

This is something different. Better check the Telecom topics because it's there already (and again no, not the same thing)

Looks like something is definitely up. Not limited to the cable network either. A high priority ticket has been raised for investigation, please continue to post examples of failing URL's.

Apologies for the hassle folks, hopefully we get to the bottom of it soon.

Just to add to the list of unreachable sites, I can't connect to http://au.ibtimes.com/ and http://www.neogaf.com/forum/ through Telstra/Vodafone cable, but can reach them on Telecom 4G.

nzb.su hasn't worked for the last day or so. Again, no problems at work or via my phone on 3G.
