The whole prepay $19 ( or any similar plan for that matter ) is actually not a prepaid plan as such .It seems to me like its sort of a eye wash concept.

Main reason being , [ this is direct from VF website ] : " Prepay $19 and $29 last 30 days and auto renews provided you have credit. "

So essentially they call it prepay and they take $19 per month from you , so it makes it a monthly or what you call a "on account plan" , the small difference being that you have already set up like a direct debit instruction so VF takes your money sitting in the bank, in this case VF itself !!

pls note : i love VF for their services, and am not taking a hit on them whatsoever.

It is still prepay.

When auto renew you pay first then use. When credit is gone it's gone. Pre. Pay.

Post paid you use first pay later. You use $1000 you pay $1000.

That's the single most important difference.

which means, if u put $20, it should sit there and money should be deducted as per my usage. it may be all in one day or it could take 2 months.

Slapping on a renewing $19 per month automatically makes it a cheap "on account" plan

Incorrect we do not send you a invoice each month and you need to Pre topup before services will work

That is how Prepay works you know.. You have 2 minutes to 12 months to use up your $20

It's just a different value proposition (And a very popular one). The Freebees plan is there specifically for folks who prefer the more traditional Prepay model - my family love it to pieces. :)
