Alflex: Wait where do i find this line stat?

Does your router look like this:

If so you will need to contact TimA as it is locked down, otherwise try navigating to 192.168.1.1 and logging in with "admin" as the suername and "admin" as the password.

Alflex: Also an explanation of what it is?

It tells us how fast your line can access the exchange or cabinet. It also shows us the attenuation which is how many dB is lost over your line, and with that we can get a rough estimation of your line length and expected speeds.

If it doesn't look like the above, please supply the brand/model number and we can point you in the right direction.

The second (automated) post in this topic is a list of questions which you need to answer before anyone has any chance at all of helping you. If you are having trouble answering them, just ask, and I'm sure that you can be pointed in the right direction.

I bet the drop outs will not be ISP related but house wiring related and your speed is well above the regulated requirement

I suggest you see about getting a master filter installed to make the connection more stable but can't see it helping with peak time speed

Alflex: Firstly, the internet continually disconnects and connects by itself, caused by the internet supplier.

Your ISP cannot cause this (unless you haven't paid your bill of course)

Alflex:
Secondly, my internet speeds are under the guarnteed speed of 110kB/s (Mine is currently 85-89kB/s).
Lastly, I have contacted both Vodafone and Chorus about this matter and both are showing signs of negligence.

The minimum throughput (speed) is addressed above, a throughput of 85kB/s is about 20 times higher than the regulated minimum.

As for negligence, that's a pretty strong statement, are you able to offer some more details?

Alflex:I have tried everything to make sure my speed isn't just a fluke.

I suspect you haven't yet tried everything, but it can be very frustrating to troubleshoot these sorts of problems. Care to tell us what you have tried so far?

Do we even have guaranteed speeds?!

If so, where do you find the list?

From http://www.chorus.co.nz/euba

This will achieve a 99.9% probability of providing end-users with a minimum downlink average throughput of 32kbps during any 15 minute period on demand irrespective of whether the Real Time CoS is in use or not

I suspect the person has gone, no follow-up, no line stats...unless they've logged in again since and just not replied.
