Screeb: So no more data (or anything) for Prepay 19 then...? 750MB or more might tempt me over.

No changes to 19 this deployment

Hmm, so I take it then that the next "deployment" is some indeterminate time in the future, likely to be at least 6 months (ie no plans in the works at the moment)?

richms: Tempting. But the lack of countries on the $5 roaming is what drove me to get a telecom contract connection for roaming next week...

Just had text from Vodafone to tell me my data will double to 5Gb from next bill.

Since I'm out of contract at that point waiting to order my 6+ there'd be no handset subsidy component so shouldn't the bill either be lower or the data go to 8Gb?

I find it odd that Vodafone is promoting this as a 'new' plan when it's actually just increasing the amount of data in their red plans and renaming it to red+. Don't get me wrong, I think it's a fantastic offer -- and I'm a Red customer who is excited about being migrated across to this 'new' plan.

But it's a bad reflection on their marketing that I yesterday I looked on the Vodafone website for the fine details. I had assumed it would only be available to new customers because Vodafone doesn't often allow exisiting customers onto new plans without breaking the previous contract associated with the old plan.

I think Vodafone would've been better off just promoting it as an improvement for the existing plans to reduce confusion for existing customers and that would still make it attractive to new customers.

Also disappointing to see that Prepay customers are getting extra data in their current cycle while us postpaid have to wait. Am currently just over half way through my cycle and I'm down to my last 10% so Vodafone will get some extra dosh from this month for extra flexidata to the end of my current cycle.

As of today each bill cycle date you were allocated 2.5GB of data from next billcycle date you will get 5GB

When a connection comes out of contract term this does not mean the price per month changes for the plan, Sorry not sure how you got the 8GB as well

That $100 plan looks nice for heavy users, but the $69 plan is a bit disappointing compared to 2degrees. They off 2GB and sharing calls+texts for $30 per mobile.
