Good Lord, Vodafone New Zealands has got problems with their CSRs...

I receive my bill over e-mail as a PDF every month, and I don't receive a paper bill.

Evidently it's not just the CSRs but also the CS supervisors. I mentioned to the guy my MYA doesnt work and that I had logged several tickets about it with no results and his response was "oh ok, yeah you will just have to keep getting the paper bills".

About 2 minutes after I hung up the phone I get a text from '99021' with my 'New Password'. The text message did not specify who the text was from nor what the password was for but putting 2 and 2 togeather I figured the CSR I spoke to took it upon himself to reset my MYA password to try and resolve the MYA issue. Too bad he didn't read the ticket notes first to see that they has already been done a number of times and it doesnt fix the problem.

Unfortunately, it is displaying the wrong post codes however it is not giving an option to set a post code.

It doesn't accept the suburb that I am living in, despite coming up on the New Zealand post website without any issues. I guess I'll try calling Vodafone CS tomorrow...

I dont get my paper bills also.  Been like this for years...  Today though they got one to me with a 24month contract inside, for a new plan i know nothing about.          Today they hit a whole new level for me.

I feel my problem started years ago when i asked for email bill.  I when't back to paper and the problem started.

I also have found they have a few areas where our address field needs to be changed.  I've called a few times to make sure they had the right address.  Today I loged onto My Account on Vodafone.co.nz to find it had my old address still on there.  Will find out soon if its fixed my problem.

I hope this helps others...

Called Voda again to see if they would deliver my bill by email and was again informed that they were able to do this in the past but not anymore (CSR had to ask supervisor again).

I can't understand why they would remove this kind of feature from their new billing system, if they even did considering MF still seems to be getting his as a PDF.

Is anyone from VF able to comment? Johnr perhaps?

I just can't understand those CSRs at Vodafone... Last week I had lunch with Paul Brislen in Auckland and asked exactly about this and he said it should be easy as taking a lolly from a kid to have this done.

I read here in this thread about people saying that it's not possible, or that you receive both paper and PDF, all sorts of things.

I receive my Vodafone bill over e-mail as a PDF file and I don't receive the paper. I got this one this week:

Really weird the CSR saying their systems can't do it, because I am still receiving the bills for sure...

Inspired by this thread, I rang and did just that, they said they'd sign me up for eBill.  They did spin me the line about the upgraded system and not being able to do it anymore, but after checking the system the CSR found the right section and added my email address.  I guess time will tell whether it will work or not.

Did you catch the name of the CSR? Maybe I can speak to them

Sorry, I didn't bother to ask.  Maybe if you specifically ask them about eBill, they'll be able to find it?  Anyway, don't get too excited, until I know for sure I'm getting emails rather than paper bill I won't believe it.

Myself i have passed my 23rd Bill date and have still not got anything in the mail after i changed more settings online.  (Re my last post)

I feel we are very cornered with what we can do, without 'wasting' our time with CSR that seem to be cornered also.

I want paper but if i could just get the pdf version at least, i know what ive been charged... And to pay.  Rather that sending BAL to 777 which ive had to do for over a year now.

I just feel likely not to need the paper for any Tax reasons!

Just spoke to Marvin, a CSR at Vodafone about eBill. After speaking with his manager Marvin informed me that no, I could not sign up for the eBill service as they have "suspended new registrations for the service since their billing system upgrade". Apparently this is due to the "ongoing issues with the new billing system". I relayed the information given to Mauricio by Paul Brislen but the CSR had no idea who Paul Brislen was, nor did his manager.

I also mentioned that a I had heard of someone (bazzer) calling late last week and being signed up to this service. Marvin's response was that the CSR 'bazzer' spoke with probably just signed up to 'get him off the phone'. Marvin however didn't seem to keen to replicate his colleagues good work, so still no eBill for me.

I have been getting my paper bills fine for years, though i did notice on My Vodafone that an old (original) postal address from several years ago was showing (a while ago). Didn't dare touch it!

Maybe we should start a thread on "Who has had a good CSR experience lately" with Vodafone?! Undecided I fear there would be very few posts???!!

I just had an interesting IM now that may help clarify the CSRs comments...

The person talked to me about eBill. When talking to Vodafone don't ask for eBill. The will say it's dead. eBill was the on-line payment system brought by NZ Post, now no longer available.

So when you ask for a "PDF bill via e-mail" the CSR will think of eBill and say it's no longer available.

I don't know what's the name of the "PDF bill via e-mail" option, but I will find out now that I know why we get such different reports...
