Has anyone been having issues receiving invoices from Vodafone this year? I've had no end of trouble receiving paper bills from them despite calling them many many times.

They've resent some which have had some mixed results, and I get the odd vodafone promotional material too (which comes without issues). Furthermore on at one occasion they've charged me $5 for a bill reprint (perhaps this last billing cycle too) for bills that never arrived. I've spoken to them and they've agreed to waive the charge however subsequent bills haven't arrived.

Any recommendations, except to look at getting a P O Box and seeing if they arrive there?

Other letters have arrived without any issues, including power, water, competing telcos, personal letters... everything but vodafone bills.

To be honest, I've been considering it, either that or porting the number over to Telecom - however that (and the reasons surrounding it) will be out of scope of this thread.

Make sure they have the correct post code listed, I've had numerous issues with other companies and invoices where they had the wrong postcode in their 'automated' systems.. specially with the codes recently changing in Auckland.

Milford, Auckland is not Milford Sounds :P

Genesis energy isnt much better.

I had a PO Box in Newlands, Wellington.

The CSR heard New Lynn, and thought Wellington sounded like Auckland.

We wernt getting any bills for months, even after making repeated phone calls. The first mail we got from them was a disconnection notice! We had three days to pay three months worth of power bills, even though it had been arranged that we did not have to pay until we acutally got a statement later next week!

No problems with VFNZ, when I had an account that is Tongue out

I have spent the last two months trying to get a direct debit form from Telecom and every time I ask for it they confirm that it has been sent to the address that I have requested, but I never receive it. Strangely I never have any problems receiving their bills. It seems to be that someone is pushing a button on their computer to send the form out, but the computer is not sending the message down the line.

I have never had any trouble receiving my bill from Vodafone. However, I didn't know you get your bill via email, so to save some trees, I will request this today. Cool

I would rather get my Vodafone bill over email.

Late last year and earlier this year, for about 3 months in a row, i didn't get my bill. I had to keep requesting a copy be sent out. After about 3 months they started coming in again no problem.

Havent had any issues recieving mine to my PO Box here in Wellington other than a 10 day delay in recieving it (With only 1 additional day than ususal to pay) when the billing system changeover period happened.

Didn't know you could get them by email, will call them now and arrange this. I wish Telecom would do this too. I currently use Bill Online but PDF would be much better.

Just rang Vodafone to request bills be sent by email and was informed by the first CSR I spoke to that this can only be done as a one-off and they still send out a paper bill.

I called back and spoke to someone different, who did not know so asked his supervisor who said that they used to do it but don't anymore as you can view your account online. Pity my MYA has been broken since the billing system upgrade and even though I have logged at least 4 support tickets about the issue it remains unresolved.

I guess i'll just have to go on killing trees.
