mdooher:KiwiNZ: If a provider changes the terms or conditions of a contract which they are entitled to do, the Telco's and ISP's should allow customers to elect out of the contract without penalty if they ask to do so within say 14 days of notification of change.
If you read their terms and conditions it says if they change the terms and you don't like it you can bang out ...no penalty. Its on the "things you should know" link
I essentially tried that one (asked for new UFB plan to be no term as opposed to continuing 12 mth term) however unfortunately they owed me credit for incorrectly billing for Vodafone TV and extorted me out of that by offering only one or the other (VFTV credit or no term - even though two separate issues).
