quickymart: Master filter might help?
jesterz: Hi all,
Is anyone experiencing really slow speeds at the moment?
Were stuck around 0.7-1.0 Mbps ... often dropping down to 0.3. Speeds improved last night by resetting the modem, but it's back to a crawl?

With only one jack in the house?

Yep, if there's an internal wiring issue (as sbiddle states above) doesn't matter if there's one jack or 100, a master filter will still tidy up any internal wiring issues.
jesterz: Thanks for your replies everyone. The strange thing is that we've been in this house for 10 years and speeds and been fine, we've had no work done recently that affects wiring.
The problem has become more pronounced since we've been on the unlimited package rather than capped.
sbiddle: What have your speeds been likely historically?
Moving plans won't impact speeds. Your sync speeds are the problem, and they're not affected by your plan, they're impacted by your location and wiring.
Spark Max Fibre using Mikrotik CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+, CRS125-24G-1S, Unifi UAP, U6-Pro, UAP-AC-M-Pro, Apple TV 4K (2022), Apple TV 4K (2017), iPad Air 1st gen, iPad Air 4th gen, iPhone 13, SkyNZ3151 (the white box). If it doesn't move then it's data cabled.

Speeds have normally sat around the 2 - 3 Mbps area, equipment is still the same and we've changed nothing in the house. A bit of a mystery!
As explained above without knowing your address it's impossible to know what your speed should be, but as all of Titahi Bay falls into a 10Mbps+ area and 50% can get VDSL2 it shows your 2-3Mbps is roughly significantly less than it should be.
