alasta: I've had the same problem last night and the previous evening also, but it seems to be okay this morning. I know that Vodafone have been doing some tweaking on their network so there may have just been a temporary glitch with that.

Its 8.45 am now, and still the same

I'd be interested to hear whether users accessing the 3G network using an VMC card are experiencing this glitch, or is the Vodem particularly sensitive to "variations" in the network?

My reason for this curiosity is that sometime next year I'm hoping to be able to use the 3G network for my home PC. I'm looking, therefore, for the best method of connecting.

I am still having speed issues with my vodem, the dashboard says I'm getting 3G+ but it seems to be slower than dial up used to be.

Just to clarify, I'm supposed to have VMCLite V3.0.3.112 and Firmware Version 11.110.05.00.00?

Hi all,

there was a problem, it should be fixed now so check again and if you're still getting lousy speeds can you let me know and I'll pass it on.

It affected all 3G devices, not just Vodems.

Cheers

Paul
