dazhann: The wireless broadband I am talking about is the new 700 mhz service which has only in the last month or so been released, not what has been offered before. If you google vodafone rural its the first link. It offers far greater speeds and a lot more data then what has previously been on offer for only slightly more dollars.
RBI is not "new". The service has been available for a number of years now using the 3G network.
What has happened is that in recent months is that Vodafone have enabled 4G LTE services on 700, 1800 (and in some areas) 2600MHz bands off RBI sites and if you have a newer RBI modem that supports dual carrier LTE you'll be able to take advantage of better speeds and performance over LTE vs the older 3G hardware.
As I explained above Vodafone are not the only option as an ISP and if you don't like them there are a number of other ISPs offering services over the network.
