Yep, 2nd day of issues here!
Hard to run a business when email is unreliable.

I am getting "some" all at once every couple of hours.

Hope this is resolved soon.

I'm on VF fibre, ihug emails.

Ahh, this would explain why my father was texting last night saying his phone wasn't working. No emails.
At least it is not something he has done that requires a visit from IT (me).

I believe that is an omission on their part -- I recall seeing both vodafone.co.nz and vodafone.net.nz being listed as affected in that thread on Vodafone's website.

vodafone.net.nz emails have been running off the same platform as vodafone.co.nz, ihug.co.nz, es.co.nz and wave.co.nz emails for a year or 2 now.

Yes, that's right. Email addresses affected end in:

  • vodafone.co.nz
  • vodafone.net.nz
  • ihug.co.nz
  • es.co.nz
  • pcconnect.co.nz
  • quik.co.nz
  • wave.co.nz
  • Domain Hosted Emails (where Vodafone hosts a custom domain name and email is received in one of the above mailboxes)

Goosey: Welcome to day 4....  the saga continues.

What is happening for you, Goosey?

Two posts from Vodafone:
It’s just after 6 pm and as promised, we have an update for you.

We are really sorry that the problem with our vodafone.co.nz and ihug.co.nz email services has continued across the afternoon.

Since our last update, our tech team has identified the root cause of the problem, designed a fix, and has taken the time to double check all systems and processes.

To ensure things go smoothly and you are back up and running as quickly as possible, our tech team has just taken the system offline to complete their tests.

The system is expected to be down until 7 pm tonight. During this period, emails will continue to flow through the network, but you will not be able to gain access to your mailbox. Rest assured, we have plenty of storage capacity during this period.

When the system comes back online tonight, you should have full access to all your stored emails.

Thanks for your patience. We are working hard to fix this.

and

Webmail is back up and running. You should be able to log in and read and reply to historic emails.

Stored emails will be coming through to you soon.

We are working to clear the backlog of emails now and return you to normal functionality as soon as possible.

We appreciate your patience as this is happening.
