I'm on a Fibre "max speed available" deal, which in my case = 30/10.  I too have worked out which alternative provider & plan I will be shifting too. My 24 months isn't up until March next year, but I will be shifting in August as i have worked out that even paying the early termination fee, I will still be better off (financially and definitely speedwise).

Its not so much the Vodafone ownership i object to, its the massive decline in support, and the failure to upgrade my fibre speed (which I am assured by other providers is available!).

Update I spoke to VF a week or so ago and they indicated I could upgrade to Firbre without extending my contract past Dec 16. So I ordererd Fibre - I was told 4-6 week wait - but Chorus called today - they are instaling the ONT Friday and the indoor work nest Wed!

At least when I leave VF - it will be easier with an existing connection
