That's very stink, but I can understand why.

PeterReader really needs a new name with no Peter or Reader now!

Peter is still among us - somewhere :)

He always seems to pop up at the worst possible times that PeterReader bloke. International man of misery.

I think loosing John is a huge loss for the Vodafone community on Geekzone.

But as someone who has gone through something extremely similar. I am impressed he took the abuse for this long.

Peace out brother.

I must say this is sad news as JohnR was exceptionally helpful when ever I had dealings with him.

That sucks. I'm sorry he feels he's had to do this, he's been such a great part of the community.

Thanks for all you have done JohnR.  Whilst we all got frustrated with VF, you did all you could and helped out  a great many people.

Come on back - you know you will miss us (a bit)

Retiring means going to play golf. How to get to the golf course with no black helicopter ;-)

Sad news, he personally resolved 2 issues i experienced in record time with very little fuss.  Loss to this community.

His and Dylan's disappearance from here will realistically cost Vodafone customers.

Their tireless efforts to help us GZ over the years have been appreciated as shown by the posts.

Now without the alternative support avenue, frustrated customers will quit and those who are contemplating a Vodafone account will only see VF complaints but will notice alternative ISP have a helping presence here ie spark, big pipe, 2 degrees, Orcon , my republic etc.

A.
