As per subject. That was a personal decision, not influenced by Vodafone.

A shame to see him go, Vodafone will miss him. He has been, not exaggerating, the most helpful person I've come across on this forum so far

He is still with Vodafone. He asked to be removed from Geekzone.

I guess it gets to a point where it is too hard to front for a company like that...

He will be missed as very helpful, and called a spade a spade. I can understand the reasoning.

Thank you JohnR for your contributions, you've always been helpful.

Are there any users from Vodafone left?

He was very helpful, I agree. Good on him for sticking with it as long as he did - I would have given up ages ago.

That's very stink, but I can understand why.

PeterReader really needs a new name with no Peter or Reader now!

Well yes, and I suspect this probably won't be the last we see of John either (Hard to buy him beer if he doesn't turn up to events!)  but at the very least the accounts that gave birth to PeterReader are both gone now. End of an era.
