Get an Edgerouter Lite or Edgerouter PoE. They will perform better than an Edgerouter X.

If you go with a Mikrotik go with a RB3011 they are more powerful than RB2011 or hEX, and have dual core cpu.

This is the one (https://routerboard.com/RB750Gr3) I'm thinking of - Not sure if GoWifi has it yet?

Yeh that one will be sweet, its dual core CPU. More powerful than the HG659.

Remember you will need something else for WiFi. Or you can use the HG659.... I am gonna buy a xclaim xi-3 at some point.....

I am already using my Apple Airports for WiFi - as mentioned - since all devices are connecting through that without changing my network topology at all.

Received my Mikrotik hEX yesterday and configured it to work with Technicolor TC4400 for FibreX Max by using the tutorial guide by @michaelmurfy and it was pretty easy to follow through. (Thanks Michael).

Solid 13hrs+ connectivity and barely scratching the CPU %. Definitely handling the 20+ devices in our house with very very adequately!
