grasshoper: telecom?s T3G service, offers data speeds of 144Kbps to 2Mbps, while Vodafone?s 3G is claiming data speeds of up to 384Kbps.
Every Vodafone 3G site is HSDPA capable with a maximum speed of 3.6Mbps (soon to be 7.2). In reality this means connection speeds of around 1 - 1.5Mbps
Just in regards to the above few posts Telecom are building a nationwide GSM network and will be deploying 2100MHz WCDMA with HSDPA/HSUPA in every city and other areas of interest. They are *not* deploying a nationwide 3G WCDMA network.
