Yup, glad it's not just me - can't get to most international sites. Been like it since around 11am ish I think. Very poor. As said, their network status page is useless. And I also gave up trying to get through to the helpdesk after about 20 minutes.

I've had enough of IHUG, they've been terrible speed wise since the 1st of April changeover. I'm voting with my feet this time.

Well, afternoon and morning speeds have increased for me, but at night - it has been slower. A 2min YouTube clip takes around 2-3 mins to load completely. I have to pause it and wait for the buffering to complete before I watch - annoying

I have been noticing speed issues as well but only between 6pm - 11pm everyday and thats not due to exchange congestion becuase neighbour on Xtra can pull 3 times greater speeds than me during the same time persiod....its always between 6pm - 11pm.....although I must say this is prob ~ only the 3rd time I have had to ring them up otherwise no problems what so ever...even speeds are great but recently something fishy :(

Do whatever you want to do man.

We are in Queen St, AKL on the Vector fibre ring via Ihug. Major problems since 0130 this morning. Has been better since 1045 today but still a large number of dropouts. Ihug tell me the fault is with Vector but that is all the news they have. And yes - the network status page is a shocker.

Another interesting flow on from this.. it appears that most of the e-mail I sent to Xtra account holders on that particular day never made it through, and I am only now, some four days later recieving undeliverable notifications.

Are Ihug still clearing the backlog of e-mail that couldn't be sent to the (now international) XtraYahoo mail servers I wonder?
