StevieT:Linux:@StevieT bit off topic but you can top-up with amounts smaller than $20 in the mobile App or the Vodafone site this was changed a long time ago
Linux
Don't see that available when I log in here https://www.vodafone.co.nz/#sign-in

@StevieT As I said in the mobile App or Vodafone site not sure why you posted a reply before trying both of the options I told you!
Linux
Both avenues don't work.

I'm sure the App does or the VodafoneNZ site try again

Tried both once again, no change in the outcome. In private message discussion with Mike regarding this.

Meh if you want to check SMS the number to 300
Linux
That isn't enough to check if they are eligible for free on-net calls. For example, texting 300 will say it is a '2 degrees number' when the other number is on Warehouse Mobile (which is 2degress's MVNO), but it is not eligible for free calls from a 2 degress mobile on an eligible plan. Very annoying.

My Vodafone App and credit card payment
Linux
Have had the matter clarified and sorted by Mike. The top ups of $20.00 will continue, rather than only $18.
