Be very careful with those links - I got charged just over $20 for watching one video through the youtube link from vodafone live. The call center refused to admit this was a mistake, and that by "downloading" the video I was charged as "downloading" is not free.
In short: regardless of coming from the Vodafone live! links or from a bookmark on your handset, the domain is what's the important. Traffic to m.trademe.co.nz is zero rated - as well as traffic to the other domains listed above.
If you go to any other domain that is not on the Vodafone live! site itself or any of the listed domains then I would expect it to be charged.
As for walled garden, this is going away from 28th July when all traffic is charged - even on Vodafone live!

From what I've read here (and from the Vodafone Geek's posts - Paul?), you cannot surf to the sites DIRECTLY or you will be charged.
I was under the impression that it was ONLY free if you used the VF Live gateway.
Until this is clarified I'd be reluctant to point my phone to m.anything.com
That's exactly right, I'm getting charged for connecting to m.youtube.com and other ones. This should have been made clear, look at the amount we spent trying to figure out what pages are free and which ones are not.
