I have been talking with Retention team as due to resign.  No plan for Starter/Ent plus sport listed (what have now) as top one adds movies which I dont want. This has actually worked out more expensive than sticking with old decoder where I was paying less than these new prices. Just waiting to hear what the cost for Smart connect at $69.99 ($30 a month cheaper for the broadband) and adding Sky would be but you apparently cant get the Starter/Ent split this way. Looks like no Sky for me.

No really sure why the retention team would say there is no Starter/Ent plus Sport. There should be the following plans

Intro

Intro, Sky Starter

Intro, Sky Starter, Sky Sport

Intro, Sky Starter, Sky Entertainment, Sky Soho

Intro, Sky Entertainment, Soho, Sport

Apparently only with the new Vodafone TV box splitting basic is not an option for the older style box with hard drive.

That's correct, we no longer sell our legacy Vodafone TV service, so any new offers will not be available via this product.

To receive the new packages, customers on our legacy Vodafone TV product will need to resign and upgrade to our new Vodafone TV service.

If the trackside channels could be added to the intro package that would pick up some customers.

Trackside 1 & 2 are Sky only channels, not available on Freeview.

Many are unaware of this other sky package. Is the vodafone tv intro pack supposed to replicate it %100?

That would be good, both were added to Skys ""holding" / Free to air $18 a month package back when Trackside moved off Freeview.

"For TAB customers who do not have SKY, we are offering a special deal – free installation of a satellite dish and SKY digital decoder and a free SKY package valued at $18.70 per month. This SKY package gives you access to the free-to-air channels and the two racing channels. The package is free until 31 December 2014 to TAB customers who watch Trackside via Freeview and who do not presently subscribe to SKY"

Existing customers can resign to the Intro package and take up this offer too. Note, Vodafone TV is only offered on Fibre/FibreX connections.

EDIT:

VFTV packages can be found here:

How does an existing FibreX Max customer, get Vodafone TV? All the packages shown from that link you provide is about signing on WITH broadband. BUT I already have broadband.

I'm already on one of those packages, just done in the past few months. I shouldn't need to sign up for anything? Wouldn't it make sense to give out to existing users on the 100 fibre minimum plan, the STB with the intro package to anyone who wants it. So as to build up a userbase
