Not sure it makes sense to me as VF are offering unlimited for $79.99 and 3 months free on a 24 month plan.

I called VF today and asked about the 300 gig plan. Its just the 100 one with 200 'free' but is only available if you have/take up a home phone line. The broadband component is $59 on a 24 month contract, or $69 on 12 months. + phone.

I was on unlimited Fibre X 200 at $55 p/m, which they wouldn't offer (contract ended this month), but got it for $69 on a 24 mth contract in the end.

@MileHighKiwi If you change it direct in ' My Vodafone ' it changes the 100GB to 300GB don't need to take up a home line number at all and mentioned nothing of a contract term when changing plans

Im paying $69.99 unlimited (yes on Smart Connect contract and yes with $10 off for mobile also) but as sweeteners Retention also gave me as 12 months not 24 and landline included. Colour me happy. Oh and not missed Sky yet and the $110 per month saving over the old plan.

Haven't had an official notification but just looked at my usage meter and it now shows 300GB for the month starting from my usual billing date of 16th of the month

FYI - Finally got an official notification from Vodafone - it's 140GB bonus data (only available while you remain on your current Smart Connect plan) + for a limited time 60GB extra (which can be withdrawn by Vodafone at any time without notice).

yitz: Maybe it is for those people who don't want unlimited because that would be too much and would rather be on 300 GB for the same price.

True, if you just email and browse a wee bit, 300GB will cover that most months...
