Have helped changed a friend to this plan $79 just today via the My Vodafone fixed line portal but no information about this plan on main Vodafone NZ site

@mikehales know anything about this new 300GB plan?

John

Maybe it is for those people who don't want unlimited because that would be too much and would rather be on 300 GB for the same price.

Risk of slowdown/overusage compared to unlimited? for the same price....

I just don't see the compelling reason? unless VF have a fair usage clause that they are actioning upon...

@hio77

unlimited is more than $79 on Vodafone and the 300GB is perfect for them as they use just over 100GB per month and don't need unlimited

@MikeHales You lost me sorry, This was not a special offer from retention team it was a plan they could select in My Vodafone

Apologies, quite right is available in My Vodafone, not a general offer.

Isn't their unlimited "Smart Connect" / Ninja support only plan $79.99?

Anyway, my point was that it may be there for those who insist on a non-unlimited plan to a capped plan even when it is similar in price.

Is this the one with the 24 month contract? No thanks

Right, that is something to consider for those who want a no contract (?) option then.

Looks like my account has been auto upgraded to 300GB, so they must be updating the plans.
