JoeBloggs: The settings are perfect. I use port 8080 on my mobile too. Hand this one over to Vodafone. If you're happy for me to have a wee snoop through your logs I can check the access point used via Vodafone to initiate the connection. PM me.

Okay guys, well, I've had numerous phone calls from Vodafone (And for once, I must say their [specifically, a CSR] service/dedication to getting my issue solved is amazing, and i am very pleased so far!).

One query did pop up while I was talking to him, and that was the IP address. 172.030.038.003, the reason this was questioned was because on my phone (WM6.1) when you enter the IP address and hit OK. when you go and look at the IP again, it actually changes it to 172.30.38.3. (removing the zero's)
This also happened on my I-mate JasJam (HTC relabeled).
Has anyone found this to be the case with one of your WM Devices?

I've tried re-entering the full IP and it changes it again. So obviously is a design thing.

Can anyone shed some light of this so I have something to tell the CSR when he gives me a call back?

Mauricio, if you can at some stage, could you please check your settings? Assuming you use MMS of course.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The address you are questioning is the wap proxy address.

pxt is sent via wap (wsp) which converts it into http (to send to the mmsc) and sends it to the url you have setup on your device

You're right sorry about that. If you see my screen shots on the prior page, the one with the IP address (or, proxy IP).
