Im probably one of the first fiber installations in the country.

From street to house there is probably a good 200 meters underground. They reused the old telephone line conduit but it was broken in several places so technician had to dug up 1-2 places in the concrete (shared) driveway to feed the line through.

Didn't cost me anything in the end I guess I got lucky.

It seems that people who got in early really did get better service. UFF did an excellent underground installation for me for free, even though my install was slightly complicated by having to traverse a private power pole before going underground.
