CraigY:

I contacted Vodafone customer support (Tech Guru's) and they said the reason the V3 Sure Signal is no longer being sold is because a new one is coming out soon.  Anyone know when the launch date is?

I've been told by someone at Vodafone that they aren't going to be getting anymore because they are preparing for wifi calling as the "Replacement" .. we had a few units on back order for months which eventually got cancelled.

porting your number over to 2degrees is probably your best option at this stage as they support wifi calling, just be sure to double check that your handset supports this functionality before switching !

A shame Vodafone dont have a stop gap solution

I transferred my cellphone # to 2Degrees and just now tried out the WiFi Calling function on my home network using an iPhone 6 .. worked perfectly.  I did upgrade to iOS 3.1 first though.  Switchover was easy, 2Degrees setup the account in store, inserted the new sim card, arranged for the Vodafone # to be ported over to 2Degrees, and then when I got home I switched on WiFi Calling .. and within a few seconds it was all connected and running.  In my system the iPhone 6 bluetooths to a Uniden house system consisting of 4 portable phones and one amplifier.  So when a call comes in over the wifi to the cellphone, it is routed to the Uniden system and all the house phones ring.  And vice versa, picking up any portable phone I can call a number and it bluetooths to the iPhone which then uses WiFi calling to connect to 2Degrees.  Goodbye Sure Signal.

Hopefully one day Vodafone and Spark will both adopt WiFi calling.

Another good thing about Wi-Fi calling is free roaming!

I can see the Voice over Wi-Fi option on my iPhone now, but curiously it's not registering. Anyone else see it? You may need to do a carrier settings update.

I have a suresignal v3 that I removed 4 weeks ago as a new tower went up 20m away from the house. I was going to put it on TM but happy for you to offer me something for it.

Also VF business advised me a few months ago limited replacement suresignals were available if one suddenly broke (I though mine had). Maybe try through your account manager if you’re with VF business?

Apple must of pulled the Carrier Bundle update as I fired up my old iPhone 6s (with iOS 14.7.1) with a VF sim and it didn't pick up any updates, still on version 46

damn, I was hoping to see the option pop up with the latest S21 update, sadly not anywhere to be seen... will have to wait another god knows how long before the next Android update.

Fairly regular 'Carrier Services' updates outside of the main android ones in the last few weeks - might be an android pure sort of thing.

My P20 is up to 67.0.387415465 (v67x_rc01)

But still no wifi enablement. I beleive should be found in the call settings menu. - ... settings when on call/dialpad. However may not be the same on Sammys
