thanks @evnafets , I see a lot more donts than dos on that list of what is covered.
This I found interesting:
Covered : Internal wiring, including copper wiring to the jack points
Not covered : Your phones, modems and related wiring to the jack points
Seems to be contradictory.
Delete cookies?! Are you insane?!
I don't think it is contradictory - just setting the "jackpoint" as the boundary of responsibility.
They cover internal wiring going through the wall and terminating on the inside of the wall at the jackpoint.
They do not cover the wire from your device that you plug into that jack point.
Having said that the charge looks like pure gravy to me. If something suddenly goes wrong with that wiring it is probably caused by one of the things they exclude (rodents, maintenance etc)
I wouldn't bother with it myself.
In the copper world the "Boundary" is the ETP, (White Telecom box on the side of the house) in the Fibre world the "Boundary" is the ONT
in the Vodafone world voice is delivered from the RGW so I dont see how wiring maintenance comes into play, because they connect the RGW directly to the cordless phone base
