Been having the same issue - Multiple clients ringing re 365 and MYOB issues, all on Vodafone. Had a helpful guy at Vodafone who got me to email him some traceroutes from my successful connect and the clients fail.

Appears its fixed now as of 10:25am-ish

Negative on DNS, been on quad9 for a while. Also tried through work DNS still same issue. Confirmed it’s back up since around 10:30 and hasn’t fallen over yet.

Klathman:

It's possible it might be a DNS issue. Seems to be working again after moving to Google DNS rather than the Vodafone DNS.

Early on I switched a client to Google DNS and it didn't help. The names resolved now which they wouldn't on Vodafone DNS but still couldn't connect. I think you just timed it right as Vodafone fixed it as it was around 10:30 things came right.

Ironically enough as soon as it started Working Vodafone put up a status message:

"We are currently aware that some customers may be experiencing issues with Microsoft applications. This is currently under investigation and teams are working to resolve this as soon as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience"

Lol - Too late :(

Must have been more then Microsoft too, I had issues accessing anything DigitalOcean based out of Singapore during this time too, so wonder if it was international transit issues

Yeah, Zoom wasn't connecting either for me and my wife's Zoom call was cutting in and out and losing video but keeping audio. So it wasn't just Microsoft and it wasn't just DNS.

We had customers not on Vodafone, complaining of outages.

The Vodafone guy indicated to me they had issues with "A data centre in Auckland" but it was more than "A Data Centre" - Perhaps it was one of the international links somewhere. I'm on 2 Degrees and have had Zero issues but I had a client on Spark report some intermittent issues with MS Teams.

Be nice to know what it really was or if it was more than one issue.
