Half the internet appears to have dissapeared for me, and based on downdetector I don't appear to be alone.

Not sure if Vodafone specific or not, but I'm on Voda and they are the only ISP I can see on DownDetector with a big spike.

Teams/365/Azure inaccesible

Whole bunch of other things down (BNZ, duckduckgo, etc)

Other things degraded badly (e.g. Geekzone!)

Please don't encourage them to rename anything else! πŸ˜€ I was only starting to come to terms with Flow --> Power Automate when suddenly the CDS is now the "Dataverse"!

The only company worse at naming things than Microsoft, is Sonicwall. They just released their middle tier protection service and called it.... Essentials. Facepalm.

Things seem to mostly be back up.

Doesn't appear to be an Azure/365 issue as such, more a 'Vodafone can't talk to Azure' issue.

Checked with some colleagues, only 2 of us were WFH on Vodafone connections, both had issues. Others in the office and WFH on other ISP's reported no issues.

Reached out to some other engineers I know round the place, doesn't appear to be localised to anywhere, guys up in Northland and Waikato getting user/customer complaints.

Can confirm, myself and another person on VF with no access to MS services eg. Teams Skype Outlook. It came up briefly then down again.

As of typing this it’s back up again.

Edit: should note everything else seems to be working okay.

Same position here, a lot of our customers who happen to be on VFNZ are unable to access Office 365 (the most obvious impact) but general internet performance seems to be rubbish. Most of our customers are in Christchurch but some others from around the country calling in with the issue as well.

95% are on VFNZ but I suspect the ones on other ISPs might have some old/bad DNS settings in their routers or DNS servers.

It's possible it might be a DNS issue. Seems to be working again after moving to Google DNS rather than the Vodafone DNS.
