Athlonite: um i may not have read your first post right but did you say your PH line is with vodafone already one would tend to think then that your line is already connected to vodafones equipment or am i wrong on that

You are right. I have my phone line with vodafone but my internet is world exchange. I changed my account 7 months ago to wxc having, major issues with vodafone internet but with this new red plan vodafone is looking attractive, but if I turn to them and they are crap as before, that one decision will cost me $99. Experience shows I probably will have to look for new provider after spending some time.

This scenario, your internet is Telecom Wholesale via Xnet & your phone line is Telecom Wholesale via Vodafone. When you are on Red network, then both your phone & internet will be on Vodafones equipment.

Good to know that, my only concern is why do Vodafone make it nuisance of their policies and not flexible enough. I don't need their modem, give me $49 credit and I will take the plan.

Just earlier, a Vodafone rep knocked on the door and offered me a broadband Ultimate
Pack plan. I've been thinking of ditching Orcon so I jumped on it and took the offer.
I don't want the modem being offered so I'll be getting a $49 credit instead. I hope
it's better this time.

That is a bit strange, if they would have offered me that over the phone I would have willingly taken the plan. I guess I should wait for them to know on my door then. hmmn.
