People do get their own phone numbers wrong number for stuff like this.

 

There is some chick in the South Island who for about 2 years kept telling people my phone number. I used to get two messages per week from her Saturday sports team managers as well as random messages from ACC, WINZ, appointment confirmations from her medical centre and calls from the odd shop/service/tradesman.

I don't think it's a scam. As mentioned, just someone that entered the wrong phone number somewhere. The NZ Post tracking says it was delivered to someone in Hokowhitu.
