tanivula:

Hey Jeremy, is your S21 connected to WiFi and if so, is VoWiFi enabled?  if not, give it a crack. Understand this isn't a fix for the VoLTE issues, but potentially a bypass while it's 'investigated'.

Thankyou, Yes I've enabled wifi calling in the interim.

Cheers for checking

Rebumping this,

Call quality issues persisting,

Have updated to 23ultra so not looking like a hardware issue.

Also present on wife's phone,

Not happening on wifi calling,

Previous priority ticked got deleted.

Have had to ring One business, New ticket issued.

Cheers Jeremy

I have had my ticket completed ,

The issue is around tower congestion. The fix is wifi calling.

Looking like a total business migration to Spark.

Spark most likely will have congestion as well but the ticket on the VodafoneNZ side should not be closed until more capacity goes in or it is linked to a problem ticket

It looks like my tower clydevfnz, is not a colo tower and spark and 2deg have seperate towers 150 and 190m separate.

What is involved in a site capacity upgrade ?.

Depends where the congestion is but I suspect new hardware at site but then back haul may need a upgrade! Nokia is working on a massive upgrade of the VodafoneNZ VoLTE core network at the moment. If you Google it you should find it

Yeah I too have logged multiple faults for this and have also had it blamed on wifi calling. There’s supposed to have been a resolution for it but I’ve since had at least one further complaint about the same fault.
