Yes. However disabling VoLTE is not recommended especially since 3G shutdown is on the way.

Provided handsets are GSM capable they should still work after 3G switchoff. Only on the VF network.

Performed a test and selected 3G ... the expected ringing returned.

Seems to prove MaxineN's assumption.

Still would like to know why VoLTE cannot replicate the ringing on this 'phone.

Hi there

Can confirm two things.

One

TCL mobile could not be provisioned with VoLTE.
Two

Handset is tuned for a different tone when VoLTE activates and calls. This is replicatable on some imported handsets that have VoLTE.

It's simply a sound, would not affect anything on network side or with calls.
