Because you seem to be trying to contact Vodafone in Australia, so suggested an Australian forum.

I had linked to the Vodafone AU contact details and you said you spent hours there melting your handset to your head, which confirmed it was AU you were trying to contact.

Same here,

Plan was for $15 or something, in the early 1990's and now its like $50 after they disestablished again and again the last price hike was a stock, am over it, as of this morning if they can't even answer usefully sayonara

Tried 777 to no avail, tried many times, tried for hours, whomever we got, no help

It's as if we can't and aren't communicating in English or something

Asteros:

One NZ doesn't really price match or do deals anymore. My lucrative grandfathered One NZ plan was disestablished so I left last month and joined Kogan. If you want to try your luck you need to ring 777 and ask for the retention team.

I really don't understand what the OP wants. Initially thought this was a case of using One's name from 2 1/2 years ago, but the very first reply was pointing to One NZ and that was ruled out as not helpful, then OP confirms they had spent hours with Vodafone AU.

Never even been to Australia, no idea why we'd want to talk to anyone there RM

Cause you keep mentioning Vodafone! So you can't be speaking about any New Zealand based mobile carrier

Respectfully, I think everyone here is also really confused as to who you are trying to contact. There's absolutely some communication issues/crossed wires going on.

Perhaps provide a bit more detail about the history and what you are trying to do now and people here might be able to point you in the right direction.

Not really, no - but think thats why we were paying twice for a while, paying Voda and paying ONE

Whoever they are, they kept the payments, as stated we couldn't get funds back

One, what a stupid name too lol

Are you aware that Vodafone Group sold 100% of VodafoneNZ and are now called One.NZ?

100%

Plan kept getting ended, price kept increasing, its not 300% higher than when it began, and we made double payments, could never get any of it sorted.

History? We have paid ever month for 30+ Years

We can communicate, just fine RM

@harlansmart: Please tell us you are actually joking?

So you have not heard of Kogan mobile that is a MVNO and you were not aware that Vodafone Group UK sold 100% of VodafoneNZ back in 2019??

I am super confused reading this too, I feel for the poor CSR's that do this daily.

Harlan

1) Vodafone is no longer operating in New Zealand.

2) Vodafone sold up, and the brand/group OneNZ has all of Vodafone's old customers.

3) OneNZ WILL NOT price match another phone provider's plan or service; you are wasting your time. No one here can offer you a deal.

They do not care if you have been with them for more than 30 years. The company owes you no loyalty.

4) Change your phone provider

5) If you want help finding cheap phone providers, then you need to post what you want out of a plan (calling, text, data and how much of it) and the community can give suggestions.

OK, that's a really good start. Maybe you could tell us what company you have been paying for 30 years, and for what service?

Are you looking to solve a problem with the existing service, or trying to get a better price?

I think people here are being a little precious. Even the forum has Vodafone in it "(including Vodafone, WxC, Farmside)".

I still accidentally call them Vodafone from time to time - as do many people. It is very common for a company who changed their name. You'd be surprised with the customers I encounter who are literally One NZ customers that don't know there was a name change (often business owners who don't get comms/invoices).

It was immediately obvious that OP was talking about OneNZ.

It is their name though just like Spark is not Telecom.

Please refer to them by their actual name here. You've confused everyone because Vodafone simply doesn't exist in NZ anymore and hasn't for some time so everyone is assuming that perhaps you want to contact Vodafone in another country.
