Me too. I was driving through there a couple of months ago and my radio stream cut out. So, that timing would suggest that it's not related to the 3G shutdown.

Your radio, as in FM radio?

@shanes Radio ' Stream ' not FM radio clearly

That's how I did read it, but worth checking as sometimes answers aren't as technically correct as they could be.

The reason I asked is there is Radio Rebroadcast in that area for the tunnel.

I would have been IP streaming RNZ National through Carplay. I don't use FM radio.

Have observed no data but still attached to this site in this area with two diff phones (one prepaid Android 4G only and the other on account iPhone on 5G NSA+4G) in recent weeks. On one occasion when I switched on flight mode and then off again it would not register with the network again until I moved into coverage for the neighboring cell. Was going to report it but looks like I've been beaten to it. Strange this has gone weeks without being noticed by One NZ crew -- zero traffic on this site would surely have raised eyebrows somewhere?

The NOC should pick up on this
